About the Founder

Denise L. Goodman is the Founder and Managing Principal of Good Haus Group - the person people tend to call when something needs to be figured out.

Long before launching the firm in 2026, Denise built a reputation across multiple industries as the person who could walk into a situation, quickly understand what was happening, and bring order, clarity, and direction to it. 

With nearly 20 years of experience spanning operations, logistics, workforce planning, and strategic execution, she has led teams, built systems, and helped organizations operate in ways that actually work—not just on paper, but in real life.

Good Haus Group was built on a simple belief: people are the heartbeat of every organization, and thoughtful systems help them do their best work. That philosophy shapes every client relationship, every recommendation, and every solution the firm delivers.

If you ask Denise what prepared her most for this work, she might tell you motherhood. As the mom of a college athlete, she jokes that she became a professional problem solver the moment she had to master a one-handed stroller, coordinate impossible schedules, navigate big emotions in a small person, manage travel logistics, remember the snacks, teach life lessons, and somehow still keep track of her own phone. Looking back, those experiences taught many of the same skills she now brings to every client engagement: adaptability, organization, patience, perspective, and the ability to stay calm when everything feels like it's moving at once.

That same approach became the foundation for Good Haus Group.

Denise created the firm for founders, startups, nonprofits, and growing businesses that know they're capable of more but need a trusted partner to help organize the vision, strengthen the foundation, and move forward with confidence. Clients come to Good Haus Group for operational strategy, people-first consulting, and practical execution. They stay because Denise brings something that's harder to teach: warmth, perspective, follow-through, and the ability to make people feel understood while still getting meaningful work done.

Outside of work, Denise is a lover of beaches, bookstores, football season, fresh flowers, and a really good playlist. She enjoys traveling, appreciates a clever pun far more than she probably should, and comes from a large, close-knit family where "Family Fun Day" is simply an excuse for four generations to gather, laugh loudly, and enjoy being together.

She also loves to read more than she likes to talk—which is saying quite a lot if you've ever met her. Ask her what she's currently reading or which song she has on repeat lately, and chances are she'll happily tell you both.

At the heart of it all, Denise believes businesses grow best when people feel supported, trusted, and connected to the work they're doing.
